KVQG Quilt Show Update

We regretfully announce our decision to cancel the Kennebecasis Valley Quilting Guild Show scheduled September 2020. Once Premier Higgs made the announcement that there would most likely be no gatherings of more than 50 people until at least December, the "writing was on the wall". At such a  difficult time, we want to ensure the health and safety of all of our guild members and all show attendees.

This show was to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our guild and of our annual show.  It is our intention to hold this special Red and White Show in 2021.   This means anyone who has not finished - or started - a red and white quilt has lots more time!!

Quilt Show 2020 Our 40th Anniversay

To celebrate our 40th Anniversary as a guild and our 40th quilt show, the theme of this year's show is  RED and WHITE QUILTS

The Raffle Quilt has just come off the quilting frame; it was quilted by Susan McEachern.  The 156 blocks were made by many guild members from patterns published by 150 Canadian Women (Next Step Quilt Designs) and 52 Blocks in 52 Weeks (CQA).  Members donated the red fabrics and Town and Country Quilt Shop gave us a discount on the background fabric, batting and backing. Members of the Monday Morning Guild group pieced the top.  Binding will be done by Andrea Barton.
